ACC Secretary-General Chen Dehai Attended 2020 Chinese New Year Film Reception

  On 10 January 2020, the 2020 Chinese New Year Film Reception hosted by China Film Association (CFA) was held in Beijing. H.E. Mr. Dato Basir Pehin Dato Rahmani, Ambassador of Brunei to China and his spouse attended the event among diplomatic envoys and international film associations from around 20 countries including Bulgaria, Canada, India, Pakistan, ROK, South Africa and Viet Nam. Also present at the event were Mr. Zhang Hong, Executive President of CFA, and representatives of Chinese major film organizations such as CCTV Film Channel, China Film Group, China National Film Museum and China Film Archive. Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) attended the reception upon invitation, and exchanged views with other guests on film cooperation between ASEAN Member States and China. 
  Mr. Zhang Hong gave a briefing in his remarks on the international exchange programmes of the CFA in 2019, the 28th China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival, as well as CFA’s work plan in 2020. He hoped that embassies and film organizations from different countries would continue to support the work of CFA, and jointly create more opportunities for the exchanges between Chinese and foreign films in the future. The Chinese film “Red Flowers, Green Leaves” displayed during the reception was well received by the participants.
